Her song Settle Down Cinderella is featured in the 20th Century Fox movie, Dr Doolittle III.

Her husband and musical partner Sam Gay has had songs recorded by platinum selling artists Montgomery Gentry, Bryan White, Little Texas, Ricky Van Shelton, Johnny Rodriguez and bunches of others. Sam also co-wrote “Take the Wheel,” a top 10 single in Canada, with artist Derek Ruttan. Sam's instrumental pieces have been featured in the award-winning DVD series, "7 Clinics with Buck Brannaman", on TV, and in award-winning feature films. Templeton & Sam's song Happy Yee~Halidays was featured in the 2018 Lifetime/MarVista Entertainment holiday movie Every Other Holiday.
